This field is either filled in automatically by KeyHelp, or it can be customized. The server administrator decides which option is available to you.

Description

In the description field, you can enter notes that will make it easier for you to differentiate between multiple FTP users.

Home directory

You can now select the user's home directory. Either specify the desired directory directly or use the directory explorer. Non-existing directories are created automatically.

Click on the following button:

Select the desired directory with the help of the directory explorer. The home directory must be located below the www/, or files/ folder.

Note: The users are "jailed" in their assigned directory. This means that they can move within their directory and its subfolders, but cannot reach higher-level directories.

After selecting the desired directory, click on the following button:

Select a desired password or generate a new one.
