Main FTP Login

To connect to your main FTP account, use the same login credentials you used to log in to KeyHelp.

The following folder structure is displayed when you log in for the first time.

Folder Structure

/cgi-bin/

Folder for the execution of CGI and Perl scripts.

/files/

Storage for files, which should not be accessible via HTTP/HTTPS.

/logs/

Contains access and error logs of your web pages.

/tmp/

Folder for temporary files created by scripts.

/www/

Folder for data that should be accessible via HTTP/HTTPS.

You cannot edit the default folders, but you can add subfolders or customize their access permissions.

Warning

Avoid setting file permission to 777, especially underneath the www directory, because this is a security risk!
It is not necessary for the operation of websites, because PHP runs under your respective user ID and can therefore write to folders that you have created using FTP.
