General Email Client Configuration - KeyHelp Knowledge Base

To set up a mailbox in a mail client, use the credentials described below.

Login Credentials

Username	The complete email address (e.g. test@keyhelpdemo.com).
Password	The password you set when you created the email address.
POP3/IMAP server	mail.<YOUR_DOMAIN> e.g. mail.keyhelpdemo.com, alternatively the IP address can be used. However, to avoid certificate warnings, you should use the server name on which the domains are located, e.g. shared01.keymachine.de.
SMTP server	mail.< YOUR_DOMAIN > e.g. mail.keyhelpdemo.com, alternatively the IP address can be used. However, to avoid certificate warnings, you should use the server name on which the domains are located, e.g. shared01.keymachine.de.
Ports with/without STARTTLS	IMAP 143 POP3 110 SMTP 25 or 587
Ports with SSL/TLS	IMAP 993 POP3 995

Please note: It is important that authentication on the outgoing mail server is activated! Sending an email is only possible with STARTTLS activated! Accept the certificate if you see the corresponding warning message!
