Schedule a Backup
To let KeyHelp perform an automatic backup on a regular basis click the button.
The Input Fields
This backup task is enabled |
Activate the checkbox to activate the scheduled backup task. |
Start backup at this time |
Specify the desired start time in HH:mm format. |
Backup Interval |
Select the desired interval from the drop-down menu for performing the backup. |
Backup Content |
Displays the contents that are backed up by the backup. |
Destination repository |
Select the repository where you want to save the backup. Note: To use a remote repository, you must first configure it. Configuration of a Remote Repository with FTP |
Maximum number of files in the repository |
Specify the maximum number of backup files to be stored in the selected repository. Once the limit has been reached, the oldest backup is deleted for a new backup. The value 0 or no entry in this field means no limit. Please note that this can lead to a complete usage of the available hard disk space. |
Email address for notification |
Specify an email address to get notified if an error occurred. If you would like to be informed even i case of success, please activate the corresponding checkbox below. |
Password protection |
For security reasons, we recommend that you protect your backup with a password, especially if your backup contains sensitive data. Note, however, that you cannot restore the backup without this password! Enter a password or generate a new one. |
